Sizeguide

Specialized Shiv TT S-Works time trial bike from the World Tour Team Saxo Bank Sungard, from the 2011 season. It has been in storage since then until now, so it has not seen much use. It is in fully functioning condition. It is equiped with 2 x 10 speed mechanical Sram Red gears and the very light and stiff Specialized crankset. The front derailleur is a special team edition with steel cage, which is a little heavier but alot stiffer and stronger than the production version with titanium cage.
The frame is a team issued 'Code Red' frameset. This means that it is built up with extra carbon and an alloy BB30 bottom bracket. This makes for a slightly stronger and stiffer frame than the production version.

Specifications:
Model: Specailized Shiv TT S-Works
Size: Medium
Crankset: Specailized S-Works 130bcd 172,5mm
Chainrings: Sram Team TT 54/44
Shifters: Sram TT900 2x10 speed
Brakelevers: Sram TT900 carbon
FD: Sram Red Team Edition
RD: Sram Red
Saddle: Prologo Zero TT

Remarks:
The bike is complete except for wheelset and cassette. The extensions are made of carbon and are with ski-bend. The bike has a few small cosmetic scratches in the paint here and there, but it does not have any damadge in the carbon and in general is it in very good condition. It comes with 10mm spacers under the armrests. There are no additional spacers included.

The bicycle is in size Medium. The Shiv TT geometry is not like any other, so it is important to check out the geometry chart of the frameset when choosing size. It is marked as being a size "54cm" in this listing, because of it being a size Medium. It does not nessesarily mean that you have to use size 54cm in other brand of biycles to fit this one.

NOTE: The bicycle will be partly disasembled in order to fit it in a box for shipping.

All bicycles sold on ProOwnedCycling are Team issued from sponsored riders and teams. They are sold outside of the warranty period and might vary slightly from the final production versions avalible in the public shops.

We will always advice our customers to ride in tight clothes. You can read more in the other tab “It must sit tight” or by watching the video.

It has to sit tight

If you ever are in doubt about how tight a cycling jersey or your bib-shorts are supposed to be on you – there are some things to be aware of. The tighter the better – a good example of why this is important could be the bib-shorts. If you go for a longer ride and your shorts is not tight, you might end up with with pain in your bum – You always want to make sure, that everything is “in place” and does not move while riding this is something you can insure by using bib-shorts sitting tight on you, you will properly get a more comfortable ride.

Another thing to be aware of is that when you use cycling clothes sitting tight on you will break the wind better, which will result in better aerodynamic.
